SOBA Annual Reunion 2023
Dear Sargodhians, AoA,
As decided in our Biennial Reunion held at Sargodha last year on 24th Oct, such gatherings will be held at Sargodha every three years (Triennial), and in between, these will be held at each inland Chapter, under the arrangement of the respective Chapter Management Committees.
This year the Reunion get-together is being organized at E-9 PAF Islamabad on Sunday, 05 Nov 023. To facilitate a daylong visit for participants from Lahore and Peshawar, the event is intended to be a day function starting around mid day (12 pm). The activities would broadly include a General Body Meeting (GBM), Lunch and a Musical Programme. The event is likely to end at 4 pm. The GB Meeting will include a report from the Gen Secy, short address by all Chapter Chairmen, discussion on agenda points if any and address by President SOBA. Chairmen of overseas Chapters will be invited to participate in the GBM through a Zoom link. Alternately, they will be requested to send their recorded video messages.
All Sargodhians are invited to attend alongwith their families. Effort will be made to arrange airlift from Karachi for retired armed forces Sargodhians. Arrangements for overnight stay of outstation Sargodhians will be made at PAF/Army Messes or private Guest Houses. Pindi-Islamabad Chapter will make these arrangements. The tentative charges for Pvte Guest Houses are Rs 8000-10000 per night and for PAF Messes these will be Rs 3500-4500 for Retd PAF/Other Svc Sargodhians. Pindi-Isb Chapter will share the tentative charges for the get-together within this week.
Sargodhians are requested to share their confirmation with their respective Chapter Chairman or with Mr Anjum at SOBA Head Office on 03005167377 by 05 Oct 2023, along with details of the admin support required by them.
