A Night to Remember: Sargodhians Gather for a Mini-Reunion in the United Kingdom
September 8, 2023: A Historic Gathering

This past week bore witness to an extraordinary event, one that will be cherished in the memories of Sargodhians across the globe. On the evening of September 8, 2023, Sargodhians convened in the United Kingdom for an unforgettable reunion. Traveling from far-flung corners of the world, including Australia, Norway, Manchester, Lahore, Islamabad, London, Luton, St Albans, and Sunbury-on-Thames, the attendees proved that no distance is too great when it comes to reuniting with one’s own.

A Feast for the Senses
The evening was not only a celebration of friendship and camaraderie but also a feast for the senses. Attendees indulged in a delectable array of cuisines, and the colorful attire worn by the ladies added a vivid splash to the festivities. But the highlight of the evening was, without a doubt, the heartwarming and eloquent introductions made by each Sargodhian. There was a palpable sense of pride in the air as each individual spoke, embodying the spirit and ethos that Sargodhians hold dear.

Capturing the Moments
The event was meticulously documented, thanks to the many Sargodhians and their companions who took it upon themselves to capture the evening’s magic through photographs and videos. These cherished memories will soon be available, not just as a keepsake for those who attended, but also to share with our larger Sargodhian family through SOBA and SONA.

Honoring a Beloved Educator
The evening culminated in an emotionally charged tribute to Mr. Asim Chughtai, affectionately known as ABC, who has been a mentor and a guiding light to countless Sargodhians. The room resounded with three hearty cheers, encapsulating the respect and admiration everyone holds for him.

A Collective Effort
The success of this memorable event could not have been possible without the tireless efforts of its organizers. Special thanks are due to Naqi Sadiq 11**_F, Salam Ansari 327-F, and Azad Ayub 380-Fury, who worked relentlessly to ensure that this reunion would be a remarkable one.

As Azad Ayub 380-Fury eloquently summed it up, the evening left all attendees feeling like a "Furious Furian of Fury," embodying the relentless spirit and deep-rooted unity that defines Sargodhians worldwide.

The echoes of this splendid evening may have subsided, but its memories will remain, engraved in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to attend. Until the next gathering, here’s to keeping the Sargodhian spirit alive and well in every corner of the globe!
