Abdul Qadir Haye
After leaving school in 1958, I rejoined Burn Hall School, Abbottabad and did Senior Cambridge the following year. Later in 1965, I did my Masters in English from Peshawar University, sat for the CSS Examination in 1966 and was selected for and joined Police Service of Pakistan in 1967. After initial Police Training in Sardah (then in East Pakistan), I served in various assignments in Pakistan and abroad, until I was promoted to the rank of Inspector General of Police in 1993. I was I.G. Police Islamabad in 1996 and IGP Baluchistan in 1999/2000. These days, I am serving as Commandant,National Police Academy, Islamabad. I am however looking forward to my Retirement in a few months time.
